Oleksandr Kondratenko is Professor in the Department of Applied Mechanics and Environmental Protection Technologies at the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine (Kharkiv). His research explores the development of particulate matter filters for reciprocating internal combustion engines for fire and emergency rescue vehicles of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, to improve environmental safety both during the war and post-war reconstruction. He is also developing new mathematical models for safety assessment/indicators for these engines. ORCID, SCOPUS.
