Jason Ross Arnold is Chair and Associate Professor of Political Science. He studies the politics of information and technology across a wide range of subjects, including disinformation, surveillance, government secrecy, counterintelligence, public ignorance, and, more recently, AI governance. He has published articles and books about those and other subjects, including Secrecy in the Sunshine Era: The Promise and Failures of U.S. Open Government Laws, and Whistleblowers, Leakers, and Their Networks: From Snowden to Samizdat.
